Water smart

 

For this weeks inquiry we had to do water smart. We each had a topic to do Me and my buddy's topic was region and environment. we found out that most people died in Auckland because there population is 1 million and we also found out and more people have drowned in water way.  Here is my slide show.

Trapped in time

 

What your looking at right now is my slideshow about trapped in time. We had to make a DLO (digital learning object )  about trapped in time. We got to pick if we did a google slide, google draw, google docs and many more.     

The wayfinder

    

For writing we are collaborating with the other classes. This week we are doing a story called the way finder and we had to do a map about the way finder. The story is all about Manu and his brother set of to sea to find another island. This is my map I did a map is where you are doing a story in pictures and you do different parts of a story and then you would draw a arrow and then you would draw the next picture.

My artwork

This is my artwork we did in room 22.  It is all about me and what I like. We had to make it because it will help your art improve. How did make it well first I traced over the photo and then I shaded to make it look good and then when I showed the teacher and then when it was good I moved on to the side where you use color and put all the things I like.      

Media Poster

 For manaiakalani we are learning about Media we had to do a poster and we had to add photos of different types of medias.   

Surf to turf

 On Wednesday 28th of October we did a challenge called surf to turf, Surf to turf is where we had to run 5.1k. after are run we had to do challenges like, plank hold, sit ups and commando crawl, and the we had to roll tires around cones and then when every body was finished we had to pull a fire truck up are school driveway. and after we had finished pulling the fire truck up the got the hose out and started spraying us with water. after the finished spraying us with water we all got a free hot dog if we wanted one.

We had to do 6 weeks of training we would do are training's on Tuesdays and Thursdays there was 3 7am to 8am , 6 3pm to pm, and 3 pm to 3pm. after we had done the  7 to 8 training's we got to have and amazing breakfast at BCN ( Belfast community network )
