Media Poster

 For manaiakalani we are learning about Media we had to do a poster and we had to add photos of different types of medias.   

Surf to turf

 On Wednesday 28th of October we did a challenge called surf to turf, Surf to turf is where we had to run 5.1k. after are run we had to do challenges like, plank hold, sit ups and commando crawl, and the we had to roll tires around cones and then when every body was finished we had to pull a fire truck up are school driveway. and after we had finished pulling the fire truck up the got the hose out and started spraying us with water. after the finished spraying us with water we all got a free hot dog if we wanted one.

We had to do 6 weeks of training we would do are training's on Tuesdays and Thursdays there was 3 7am to 8am , 6 3pm to pm, and 3 pm to 3pm. after we had done the  7 to 8 training's we got to have and amazing breakfast at BCN ( Belfast community network )

New York is falling!

One morning I wake up like its any other day. I get up out of bed to make my morning coffee. I sit outside and see the the statue of liberty in thousands of pieces. I spit my coffee out of my mouth I get my slippers on and run out side. 

I think to my self New York is falling I get in my car and drive round the city. I might be the only person in my city. I sit in my car crying because I have nothing left. I say to my self why am I crying im just being a cry baby.

I get out of my car to look whats left in New York. I get back in my car to see if the radio will still work but I hear nothing. I go back to my home I say to my self what if this is all a dream I try to go back to sleep.

I am tossing and turning but I still cant get back to sleep. I get up and make myself some dinner. Its been a long day so I go back to sleep.

The next morning I get up to make a coffee I go sit outside to see it was all just a dream.  

 

Qll

In the holidays I went to Qll,Qll is a place were you can go and swim there is also a hydroslide. And sometimes they put floties in the water so you can play on them. There is pools you can practices swimming in they are really deep but I can still dive down and touch the bottom of the pool.

We were all playing in the pool and playfighting. Then my cousin and I really wanted to go on the hydroslide so we begged and begged and they finally said yes. They went to the place you pay and they got us the wristband you have to wear to let the lifeguards know you can go on the waterslide.

 My cousin and I waited in line finally we got a tube we were so excited. This was my cousins first time at Qll so she was a little scared but I have been on the hydroslide so many times. We were walking up the stairs to the waterslide and then we put are tube in the water and when the light went green we could go. As we were going down the slide I fell off and banged my knee on the wall of the waterslide but I was fine. We had lots of turns after are first turn so we went in the pool and played tag in the lazy river I was in for tag I tagged my stepbrother and he chased all of us then stepbrother tagged my sister. me and my cousin got sick of playing tag.

We lined up but this time we went on a single tube I went first down the water slide and it was dark you couldn't see anything and I went backwards down the water slide it was really fun then my cousin came down.

My stepdad said we had to go now we were all sad but we had to go. we were all here for 3 hours. So we all got in the car and went home.

Samoan language week

 This week is Samoan  language week so i did facts about Samoa.                                               
               

rock painting

today me and my three youngre sisters decided to paint some rocks we have heaps of rocks in a graden so we used them. my sister wanted to paint on her hand i said dont do that but as usal she did not listen to me and did it any way now she regrets doing it beacuse she wiped it on her top and it stained her top. i decied to find some little roks so i can paint them and then write something on it like my name but i havent decied yet my sister ella got some paper and painted on that because she did not want to paint on the rocks i asked her why she did not want to paint on thr rocks she just said beacuse i dont want to. my other sister avah gave up. and charlotte was the on who painted her hands. the rocks are still drying but i will finish them tomorrow.

pancakes

Today I made some pancakes with my mum and three sisters. We all had a turn at pouring the ingredients in. We all got a turn at fliping the pancakes I only had one and a half because i got full. I like to put butter and mapyle syrup on mine.
